    RURIKO-JI TEMPLE FIVE-STORIED PAGODA

    Buddhist temple Ruriko-ji temple, located in Yamaguchi city, is a National Treasure built in the 15th century. Along with Horyu-ji temple in Nara and Daigo-ji temple in Kyoto, Ruriko-ji temple counts as one of the three most famous pagodas in Japan. Boasting beautiful cherry blossoms in spring and snowy landscapes in winter, the temple lights up in the evening, making for a romantic sight.

    HAGI CASTLE TOWN

    Registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hagi Catsle Town was a marketplace often frequented by samurai and merchants 150 years ago.
